What is Emotiv Insight all about? Emotiv Insight
is a headset gadget that reads your brainwaves and decodes them into
understandable data. Emotiv Insight will aid the average user in understanding
their brain functions, offering an opportunity to improve brain performance.
The gadget is sleek and looks like it came from a futuristic sci-fi movie which
is totally cool.
The Emotiv Insight works by using the
Electroencephalography (EEG) to track and measure brainwaves. Billions of
neurons in the brain interact through a chemical process which releases
electric impulse and this is what is tracked by the Emotiv Insight device.
What does the Emotiv Insight track, the gadget measures
Engagement, Attention, Affinity, Interest, Focus, Excitement, Stress levels and
Relaxation. The gadget gives you the ability to bring all these under control. The
Emotiv Insight understands basic cognitive commands such as pull, push,
rotate, levitate, appear and disappear. This technology makes it possible to
mind control most of our daily activities such as switching on the TV to more
complex activities such as driving. The gadget also understands our facial
expressions such as clench, smile, surprise, winks, frown, and blinks.
